Motives behind seeking change

Some of my friends and a few of theirs had dinner and were sitting around discussing what we’ve read in this magazine, “Catalyst.” My dude Ryan spit something that hit deep about your motives behind seeking change in your workplace, or society. . . “ must not be because of what you hate, but because of what you love.” That hit me hard. Who/what do I love? And what change is needed therefore?
